This instrumental has a great feeling about it. It motivates you to move around and get things done. It makes you want to dance, jump around and have fun. Anyone I have ever played this for liked the way it flowed/sounded. It has nice spacey fx, beatuful piano sounds, nice percussion and undeniable string/synth sound that gives this instrumental the final touch. Its very airy sounding and has a very nice pop instrumental feel to it.
This beat reminds me of a Black Eyed Peas Song or a “Will I Am Instrumental“. I had a lot of fun creating this and sometimes listen to it over and over because it seems to take you to a different planet at times. It almost has a calming effect to it and then the beat drops and switches back to making you happy again. This instrumental definitely has a mixture of emotions about it. I really hope you guys enjoy it.

The instrumental HipPop was ultra fun to create. It uses a mixture of pop, dubstep and hip hop sounds and has a really unique feel to it. Towards the chorus it has a dubstep sort of drop to it that I really love.
This is a great track that could be used in anything from presentation videos and tutorial videos to sports videos, new product introduction type of videos or anything else you can think of.
The main melody reminds me of a Chris Brown song while the dubstep drops remind me of a Skrillex type of feel. This track has tons of energy, drops, rises, fx, build ups and more. If your looking to add energy to your video or have a general track that can fit many purposes, this is the one.

Live Forever is a great mix of deep bass, hi energetic synth sounds and feel good percussion. This instrumental has a very uplifting, inspirational and motivational type of feel to it. I could see this being used for tons of positive projects, growth videos, extremely powerful presentations and more. For some reason this instrumental really connects with me; I probably cried like 15 times making it (I honestly contemplated whether to say that or not but I really connect with my music and wan’t you to see that I am a real person).

Les Brown is a well known motivational speaker that helps entrepreneurs start their own businesses, among other things. He is a great guy and has tons of positive things to say and stories to tell. I wanted to combine his best audio clips with a really motivating beat. The result was “Made It”. I really hope you like this beat. Listen to the version with Les Brown’s audio clips here. Motivation is a beat I created right after getting through a depressing time in my life. My relationship (with 4 step-kids), my websites (2 at the time), my businesses (music production and SEO) among other things weren’t really going that well for me. However, I kept pushing through, making the right decisions and slowly but surely things started going in the right direction for me. I became motivated by the fact that I was able to make it through so much and still be able progress in each of those areas where I was lacking. And to do it while trying to provide for 4 kids and my woman wasn’t an easy task!! That wasn’t an easy time but pushed me to become greater and also pushed me to make this instrumental.
Has a nice mixture of pianos chords, hi and low synth sounds, arpeggios, fx, hi hats and more. Very happy go lucky and motivating feel to this instrumental.

Just Feels Good is a happy/laid back type of instrumental that feels like the sunset of a great day on a island beach. Plenty of percussion, guitars and even some dj mixing sounds made it into this instrumental.

This instrumental reminds me of taking a really nice drive on a sunny day during the weekend. It feels like there is not a care in the world and everything is on the up and up.

The piano melody is backed by strong synth sounds that dominate the track once they become present in the mix. Nice feel good instrumental here that tells its own story. It starts out a little slow with only pianos and synths playing but eventually picks up the energy once the kicks and snare make their way into the mix.

Hold My Hand is a love type of instrumental that feels good and reminds you of that special someone. It makes you want to be close. This is actually one of my Wife’s favorite instrumentals of mine. I made this instrumental back in 2010 or so. This has more of an R&B feel to it but could be used for any type of project that needs happy love music.

It’s tough to make it as a budding musician. From writing your own songs to securing gigs and distributing your sound, it can seem like one hurdle after another. Music mastery (aka sound mastery) is the final stop before your music hits listeners, and you need it to be perfect.
What is music mastery?
Music mastery is the final step of audio post-production. While mixing is like putting pieces of a puzzle together, mastering is like framing the finished product.
- Balancing sound with stereo to help your music sound good across all systems and media formats
- Equalizing (EQ) and compression to get rid of audio imbalance
- Getting rid of background noise like clicks, pops, hisses, etc.
- Preventing distortion when the listener turns up the volume
- Creating different copies for different audio formats (vinyl, CD, cassette tape, streaming)
Quality sound mastery turns good music into great music. It can be the difference between a flop and a hit. No pressure!
Should you DIY your music’s mastering?
Thanks to high-powered laptops and online stores making mastery equipment available for purchase, it’s possible to DIY all of your sound mastery. Which brings up the question: do you want to?
A professional sound master has tons of experience from polishing hundreds, maybe thousands of pieces from start to finish. Experience means hindsight, and hindsight means that things they wish they did better on their last job will be phenomenal on yours. They’ve developed a sense of intuition for the needs of your genre, and they probably have better equipment than you could ever afford. And since music mastery is their job, they will be able to get the job done faster than you can.
If you have decent laptop and have invested in some sound mastery equipment, in theory you can do it all yourself. The biggest incentive to DIY is simple: money. Professional sound masters with the kind of experience discussed above can be expensive. And if you hire someone cheaper, you might end up with a less-than-impressive final result.
Owning your master rights
Signing away your master rights away used to be standard practice for new musicians. Sure, it eliminated the artist’s say in their music or how it was used, but they received funding and exposure in exchange.
That was then. Now, thanks to a surge in indie musicians and streaming services replacing physical CDs, more and more artists are demanding to keep their master licenses and the revenue that comes with it.
Fortunately, signing with a label rather than DIYing an album recording isn’t the end of the world. You can still negotiate the terms of the contract to work in your favor (preferably with the help of an lawyer). One of the most popular negotiations is adding a clause which turns over the master’s ownership to the artist after a certain amount of time, usually 2-5 years.
